About: WELTKLASSIK is a renowned monthly concert series offering classical piano music performed by the world’s greatest rising stars in an intimate setting. Our pianists are handselected by a panel of concert performers and leading professors from the finest music conservatories. The roster includes winners of major competitions who have been educated at the best schools and show a unique musical voice and exceptional personality. Mission: WELTKLASSIK’s mission is to keep the great tradition of classical music alive and relevant for future generations. Our programs present beloved masterworks from Bach to Chopin, and Beethoven to Gershwin. In order to nurture classical music for future generations, children under 13 are invited to attend free of charge. History: WELTKLASSIK was founded in Germany 15 years ago, where it has grown into the country’s biggest concert series, presenting more than 400 concerts a year in more than 30 locations. Today it has expanded to present regular concerts on 3 continents and in 5 countries, including Spain, the Netherlands, Switzerland, China, and now the United States. |
