"Weltklassik am Klavier - 'Evocations' - Reminiszenz an Schubert und Skrjabin!"
Evocation:noun
the act of bringing or recalling a feeling, memory, or image to the conscious mind.

This program consists of works by the composers Schubert and Scriabin, which reveals to us their most intimate and personal allegory of their lives. These pieces perceives and evokes the state of the composers during their life time.

For Schubert, The Piano Sonata D.960 was the last piano sonata he has composed, written during the darkest time of the last few months of his life. The piece conveys the tragedy of death and the beauty of his short yet prolific life.

The Preludes op.17 and the 3rd Piano Sonata by Scriabin evokes the different "States of the Soul". These works conveys the love, sorrow and pain of his dreamy delicate life.

Although they both died very young, their presence will be evoked through their music beyond all time.
